Consultorio Médico Pastoral

The Consultorio Médico Pastoral serves as the core of Peru Missions current Medical Ministry in the city of Trujillo, Peru. We are a small clinic that serves the impoverished neighborhood of Wichanzao. Here we aim to share the love of Christ by providing the best low or no-cost health care services possible to this underserved population. The clinic is open on weekdays and offers services in General and Internal medicine, Obstetrics, Early Childhood Development, Psychology, Dentistry, Laboratory Analysis, Pastoral Counseling and a Pharmacy.

Our goal is to provide health care to this poverty-stricken area, and this ministry often provides unique opportunities to share the Gospel with people through word and deed. Patients are attended in the clinic as well as provided with follow-up pastoral home visits when needed or requested. We aim to care for both physical and spiritual needs of the community and are assisted in this work by volunteer medical mission teams from the United States. With the help of these teams we are able to hold campaigns in the neighboring communities and offer much needed medical attention. This helps to build a good reputation and expand awareness of the presence of the clinic to people in the surrounding areas.
